System update 2018 model

Anyone knows if 2018 Canadian model will offering system update for the car? So our ME app will work.

ME app does not apply to MY2018 (our E63). Nothing can be done.

are you in US ? If you are, then yes, it works.

Not in Canada, as far as MB Canada has been telling us. There was another thread on this subject matter a few months back

We don't have MEon our car, it only start from MY19 model, so that's why I'm asking if anyone know there will offering a system update on our car.

Is it just a situation where they just haven’t authorized the VINs of 18s but there’s no technical reason it can’t work?

I been asking our local dealer recently, they did not say anything other than it from MY19 model. I'm not sure if the network module will be the same for both car, since ME need a network to work?

It's likely MB Canada can do it thru software update but then they simply don't want to incur the unnecessary expense ... from my perspective point of view.

That sucks & that system update in the car just meaningless...
