Selenite Grey Paint code

Does anyone have the paint code off their door jamb sticker for selenite grey metallic?
Much appreciated!

I picked up a Selenite Grey touch up paint kit to fix the little chip on my hood. The parts guy said they don't have touch up paint for Selenite Grey Magno, and I said that's OK, I understand the Magno is in the clear coat, but this is a very small chip (like 0.5 x 1 mm), currently bare metal, and plain old Selenite Grey will be fine. They really didn't want to sell me the kit. Said I'd have to respray the whole hood. Was finally able to talk them into selling the kit.

Brought the car by for something else a week later and asked the parts guy to go out and find the fixed chip on the hood. He eventually did, but agreed that yes using the touch up paint kit was an acceptable alternative to respraying the whole F'ing hood.

The numbers on the touch up paint kit box are "7-992 Selenitegrau met" and "A 000 986 23 50". There are two bottles, one for the paint, and one for the clear coat.
The numbers on the paint bottle are the same as above.

I looked at all the decals on the driver's side door and didn't find anything resembling a paint code.

Something along the lines of this number? I’m getting conflicting information of 992 and 7992

Thanks everyone!
992 it is.

Mine says 297 there. Edit, just reread the original post. My car is Selenite Grey Magno. So, disregard the photo below. The paint code I mentioned for the touch up paint I bought is has 992 in it as well, so that seems to agree with the other photos posted for Selenite Grey (not Grey Magno).

Sorry to dredge up an old thread but your thread here is helpful as I'm looking for touch up paint and could find nothing under the 297 code.

With that said, do you recall your experience using this touch up paint? Dab some of the paint into the spot until satisfied, wait for it to dry, then back over it with the clear coat?

Any input you have would be appreciated, thanks!

I had a small chip that I touched up with either a really tiny brush or a toothpick, I don't remember which now. Don't recall now if I went back for a second touch up, but I know I didn't use any of the clear coat.

The fix has been fine in the several years since, and I can't really find the repair any more.

Sorry not sure if I follow, I guess my question is did you only use the paint, or also the some of the clear? Both MB kit and other secondary kits I've seen come with 2 btls.

Sorry, reread my post and can see how that was confusing. I meant to say I did not use any of the clear coat. I only used the paint. I'll edit and fix the post for future readers.

The kit I have has two bottles, one paint, one clear.

The spot I was touching up was so small that I didn't bother adding the clear to it.

The Selenite effect is in the clear coat, but given the little chip was about the size of a 0.7 pencil lead and maybe 2 mm long at most I didn't bother with the clear coat.
