Window tint VLT used in Night Package
i've order mine with ACP and I am now going to place ceramic tint on the rear windows just for the looks.
i'm using Llumar and i'm debating between 35% and 20%. unfortunately they don't seem to have anything in between.
my car is black on black, so don't want it to be too dark inside, specially on winter or at night.
anyone knows what is the VLT used on the Night Package for those that have order it?

Windshield and sunroof: 70% VLT; 50% TSER
Side and rear: 40% VLT; 60% TSER
The Pinnacle 25% by contrast has 25% VLT and 58% TSER
So if you want heat rejection without losing light, you can't beat the 3M Crystalline.

I have 3M Crystalline 70 on windshield and sunroof, and Crystalline 40 on sides and rear. It looks awesome and performs phenomenally well in the hot Atlanta summers.

yeah, i also like dark tone to the windows. but not too dark so to not place the inside of the car like it was at night. i think i will go for the Llumar 20% ceramic coating on the rear B pillar windows. i think it is at the limit between privacy, style and ability to see for outside and have some light inside the car.
but i was interested to know what is the factory value that comes with the Night Package. anyone knows??

I don't think the night package adds dark tinting to the windows. At lease I don't think that they are noticeably darker than other windows.
BTW, in addition to the Night Package, my car also has the Sun Protection Package (313) which has the infrared film.

If you dont want it too dark, go with 50% or more VLT, Stratos 70 would be a good bet on top of the rear factory tint, 15% would match the rear tint.

TireRack has incredible closeout pricing for ST7s in 20" - at only $90 each. Offsets of 48 are not for AMG, but my car is not an AMG and I can use spacers. The largest problem I see is that these wheels reveal completely brakes hardware, it is fine for beautiful and massive E63's components, but not so much for E450(especially at the rear).

Thanks. That's what I thought based on tires' profile, but got confused by larger than "normal" appearance on these wheels in 19".

Thanks. No need for winter setup where I live. Was looking at 20x8.5 and 20x9.5 available with et48 (closeout at only $360 a set) or with et38 (closeout at only $440 a set). These wheels are basically copies of S class AMG wheels. Normally OEM center caps fit Sport Edition wheels like a glove. Will order one rear wheels with tire to test fit and see if looks ok with relatively ugly E450 rear rotors and calipers.
