Has anyone previously wrapped chrome window trim?
I would really just like to try and order the night package trim for the windows and roof rails but my dealer is giving me a hard time saying I need to have the VIN of a wagon that was equipped with it. Ive been thinking about wrapping everything black. Has anyone ever wrapped window trim in vinyl? How does it hold up over time? Has anyone with a wagon successfully ordered all of the pieces?
This place sells all the pieces for the sedan but not the wagon.

Just sent you my VIN - this should work for your needs - 2019 wagon with night pack.
As for wrapping, its going to be a tough job as there is no room to tuck for the lower sideskirt aero trim or diffuser.

i din't wrap with vinyl but with a PPF/clear bra
it seems it's a common looks preference in the US to black out the cars but i would suggest to keep the chromes and use a matte PPF. That will remove some of the chrome shine and look more stealth, but still having some contrast with the paint.

I had it done by my buddy with a simulated carbon fiber wrap. Did the windows, door handles, front chin, trunklid spoiler, side skirts and the fender piece. The rear diffuser was wrapped in a gloss black. It turned out very well.
