nav system update
 
I noticed my nav system missing many roads and POIs. Is it suppose to download updates itself or its dealer installed?

Thanks.

ps. audi was the best about it: you get notification that update is available, click yes and it goes.

It may depend on the country but this should be update over the air at no cost

I see it has this option but it always says 'no update is available' which is bs. In 2016 audi s6 nav got updates over the air every 2-3 month

My other cars are CD-ROM updates available annually for about $170.

I’ve had 2 updates for Europe as well since Oct.

Nowt major, nothing really cool alas!

I just came back from lunch and looked out of curiosity and mine is 63% done with a 3rd update.

Do you guys connect your phone internet ? Or it does it by its own connection ? Cause mine haven’t got a single EU update since May

by its own connection. you might need to manually request to check for an update i believe on the infotainment.

i see 'automatic system update' option and its checked in. Is there option specifically for navigation update?

I’m in Canada. My map still shows 2017/2018 map version and there is a note saying to contact dealer for map update

So, that would be odd that others (in US) were able to do over the air update on map 🤔

i cant even find any feature in my nav options to click on for auto or over the air update

if other members here can provide whereabouts is this function/feature is found

In the US and no visible way for me to update. Same message as others, to contact the dealer. Fwiw, I did not subscribe to any additional Connect services. Maybe that is it? Also, for KC, what NAV revision are you?

Even MBUSA says to bring in your car to dealer to have it updated by a tech.

I am on 2018/2019 (v13.0) N.America; however, it is 88% done installing the next version.

i checked my software update ... it shows no update
