Mercedes Connect Me Services Limited
I get the below error message every time I start up my 2019 E63 wagon.
I looked in the owners manual and found nothing.
Any suggestions?

Thanks!!
Now I just need to figure out how to stop making it appear. Between this and the error message when it’s trying to sync my contacts (apparently I have too many), it’s an annoying start up process to have to turn off a variety of error messages.

Do you have any third party accessories plugged into the OBD port? I get that message when I have a particular accessory that monitors some vehicle statistics (speed, etc) plugged into the port.

That's the cause. Whenever I have plugged an accessory into the OBDII port, I also get the same message.
In my case I took the car into the dealer because of that message, and they told me this was the cause. Sure enough once I removed the plug I never got the message again. They said they can't disable it.

It took a little help from Steve to get my Me connection services set up when I picked up the car in Germantown. I'd had the car for a couple weeks in German, but the US Me services aren't available till you get the car stateside.
I'd created an ID and had the app set up, but turns out that was putting the car before the horse. Once Mercedes had the services all set up, I had to log out of the app and start from scratch. After that it worked fine.
I have noticed that if I plug an OBDC reader into the port, it shuts down the connect services. Probably a safety thing as they don't want you remote starting the car when someone's plugged in doing diagnostic work and maybe under the hood - though you'd think it would check for an open hood latch . . .

Sure they could be less restrictive and just disable some remote commands, but this is the easiest way to ensure that nobody gets hurt. In any case, it's a feature, not a bug.

It's been pointed out that it's a safety feature. The assumption is that the car's in the shop (since that's the real reason for the port.) Not a good time for the owner to send a remote start command.

I can verify this. Same message, was told the Mileswise plug was the issue. Oh well. But in the end they could program the car computer to recognize it. So there is something they can do, they just don't care. LOL

I have the same issue (the message appeared 2 days after I plugged in my insurance company's device), but I want to clarify something...are you saying that if I make an appointment with the dealer they can program the car computer to recognize it? This is my first Mercedes and I do not want to look like an idiot if I contact the dealer, nor waste my time as the dealership is 45 minutes from my house. Any clarification would be appreciated.
Or - since I must leave the insurance device plugged in for 6 months - I just have to disregard the message until I remove the device. and it won't be harmful to the car?

That being said there is a bigger issue at hand for your car....plug in for insurance on a 600HP AMG is asking to double your rates if you ask me LOL

After talking to Dealer and Insurance folks I found it is easier to just hit the cancel button each time it appears. So basically a few moments after each start. Yes it is a pain, no I don't think it will hurt the car. When I go in for service I remove the device anyway. It could be programmed but they (MB and Allstate in my case) just don't care enough... not worth the money!

In my case, I first disabled the Travel Zone, as a way to stop constant tracking and communication in low signal areas one day and it didn’t help. So next day; I simply removed my car from the Mercedes me App. all together and left my 2 other cars active, than drove it to work and added it back in to the App. about 30 minutes later, using the same App. and the message went away and never came back. Good Luck!
