W213 2020 facelift
Just came across this on YT about to take delivery - hate when the facelift comes out the following year! If they have the AMG Drive unit on the steering wheel I’ll be choked! |
I am not sure about the look. It looks like the new cls which isn't exactly a looker

After the 2020 (refresh/face lift) comes out. There may be some minor changes/improvements on the following year of a face lift. Then one could say; wait for 2021 for those improvements. At that point, you are getting close to the new model - W214. So then you could wait another year for that... and so on... and so on. It's like computers, if you're always waiting for the latest, greatest, fastest and cheapest. You'll always be waiting, because it changes so rapidly. Once you've made the conscious decision to buy. Then by all means - go ahead and buy. I would rather spend my time enjoying a vehicle instead of worrying about face lifts and new models. Especially when 2020 deliveries are most likely a year out or more. If it were closer, and I'd actually seen the refresh. Then I might consider waiting at that point in time. I am also of the opinion they change things just to change things. Newer isn't necessarily always better. Software certainly comes to mind in that statement. Mi dos centavos.

Consider yourself lucky you ordered now. I'm not crazy about the CLS look and the weird steering hub.

The new 2020 GLE looks like it got the new USB-C ports but no wireless CarPlay. I hope the facelifted E-class gets wireless CarPlay, and the GLE only missed out because it's built stateside...or something like that.

I'll wait. I only purchase after the Mid Model Update!
