Foot pad protector for floor mat
the AMG floor mats are expensive and not protected on the foot area on the driver's side.
so i started thinking if there is no pad made in upholstery that can be placed over the foot rest areas and fixed with a Velcro base? Since the Summer floor mats are already in upholstery it would be easy for a Velcro based pad to be placed over it and stick to it.
anyone knows about this?

The pad can also be in rubber.
Even on cheap cars that I had the floor mats came with a rectangular area in a stronger material where the foot heel rested.
