Rear tires always cold

My rear tire on my passenger side is always running 5-8 degrees much lower than the rest. It is also the tire that skips when ever I drive it out of my driveway in the morning. Anyone know what the reason is behind this. The tire is in good shape and there is no change in tire pressure.

Interesting. I noticed both tears run colder under normal driving which I attributed to the engine getting hot up front?

Ya, that part is correct. Fronts will always be hotter because of the engine heat. In my situation my rear right passenger tire always runs colder compared to the left side tire, and I am not sure if it has to do with weight but makes no sense how a 190lb makes such a big difference on tires when I am sitting in the front.

I always have a difference in 1-5F between each corner. It depends on the sunny side and etc, also brakes in the front are making a lot more heat than rears and this is also can make a temperature difference.

If you have such a 15F difference and more I would check brake calipers if they are working properly and brake piston did not get stuck. But I think this is not possible on these new cars and only one problem is you are looking on temperature really often.

Yeah maybe a bad sensor? Are both exhausts working normally?? May not factor but just trying to think of what else would affect this. Your weight should not be a factor in this 4,500lb car I think. Not to that level.

More weight up front, warming motor and 75% of braking is done by front brakes makes for more heat transfer to rim and tire. Intern they heat up faster make more pressure.
Outside rear wheel (passenger side) always is the coldest intern less tire pressure will read as well. If you drive straight on the highway for 15 min or so the rears should level out with one another. If not just adjust pressure accordingly. Driver weight on one side will make a difference 140 lb driver vs 250 lb changes corner weighting
