Does production date matter?
Probably a dumb question, but I'm considering two MY2019 wagons that are specced (almost) identically; one has a 6/18 production date, the other a 3/19. Should the production date factor into my decision at all? It looks like I'll be able to get a better deal on the one with the 6/18 production date, but I don't know if I should consider that one was produced 9 months ago versus a month ago.

It might. In MY2018 vehicles, those that were built early MY2018 had different electronics and were missing some features compared to MY2018 vehicles built later in the year.

I have seen 6/18 builds to be still MY18’s on some cars. This is a really early MY19 build.
While there should be zero differences in MY19 builds, there always are software/hardware version differences in modules. This shouldn’t have any impact on users though like it did on the early 18 builds (which were really MY17’s).
