Same sidewall thickness, different overall diameter. The front tire+rim is 32mm taller than stock 20"s, you lose 16mm of arch gap. Rears are 38mm taller, resulting in ~19mm of arch gap loss...and then there's offset, which I can't find for the monoblocks. Some rubbing is likely, depending on offset.
Not the same, close, but not identical, so yes, GT's 21" will provide fractionally more sidewall than E's 20":
E63's 265/35-20 front's sidewall is 3.65" while GT's 275/35-21 - 3.79",
295/30-20 rear - 3.48", 315/30-21 - 3.72".
Not sure what's intended to state with the rest of the post (we're talking two completely different cars, what rubbing?).
You cannot. My work here is done. I do love them on the old E-Class but they DON'T work on the current E63. Hence why I want someone else to try them and discourage my nostalgia for the originals to cloud my judgement.

I was a fan of the wheels when I saw the initial renders of the car but after seeing the photo of them in the flesh on this thread I have changed my mind.
To play devil's advocate for those who do like the design and want it for their non GTS Rotiform does offer a wheel model that pays homage to those AMG wheels of yesteryear. Custom built diameters, widths & offsets so it can fit any Mercedes vehicle.
Monoblocks are one of the best rims of all time and they belong on 80's to 90s benzes. They look awesome but should be left there not on anything current, just doensn't look good

Quite the opposite... monoblocks have a long history with AMG. Educate yourself.
