How much more power can E63S block + tranny + internals handle before needing upgrades?

The transmission doesn't blow. Hard launch could theoretically break a differential gear or something similar but the launch controller will not allow you to launch that hard. Doesn't matter how much power you have the launch will be the same.
When the transmission fails it's because of clutch slipping. The car will still drive okay on the street.
