Wheel/Tire Fitment on W213 E63?

I am currently scrolling through the whole forum regarding fitment for the W213 E63 platform. I have a set of custom made wheels for my C63S and I have confirmed that it will fit the W212 E63 platform considering its AWD system and now I am interested in whether it would also fit the W213 E63 for a friend who is asking. If anyone can help me with this, I would highly appreciate it

I might be wrong but upon some research on this forum and based on what people run with stock setup+spacers, the wheels that I have might be just fine without any spacers at all. I have a 19x9.5 +32 for up front and 19x11 +60 for the rear. I had a 7mm spacer up front and 8mm spacer in the rear on the C63.

For a good look I would recommend a 20-25mm spacer up front and 5-10mm spacer in rear.

My HRE are 20x10 ET 12 front and 20x11 ET 52 rear

I did a lot of research on this. There are several custom wheel offset calculators out there like this one http://www.willtheyfit.com and plug in the stock offsets and the new ones and see what it says. I put my custom Vorstiener VF-112's from my C63S coupe on my E63S sedan and all I needed was a 12mm spacer upfront to flush the wheel up (it did fit without it but it was 9mm inset). The sedan to sedan might be different.

If I recall the stock E63S offsets are +25mm front with 20x9.5 and +55mm rear with 20x10's.

Just doing a basic calculation using the offsets you provided (assuming your using 20's as well and not 19's) on that site using my 19 C63S coupe a 295/30/20 tire size going from a 10" to 11" and 60mm offset it will sit 17.7mm closer to the strut and push out 7.7mm. You may not have clearance on the back side and might rub the suspension. The front is a bit closer, using a 265/35/20 (stock tire size on the E63S) it would be both 7mm inset and 7mm closer to the strut. A 12mm spacer in the front should get you nice and flush in the front with room in the back but the rear may be a bit too much. Even with a 12mm spacer in the back as well your pushing the rear tire out almost 20mm and that may stick out to far. These are just hypothetical's until you plug your actual sizes and stock offsets into the calculator with the new tire sizes and offsets from your new rims.

Use that site to plugin your exact details and then go measure the car to see how much space you actually have. I was lucky as the C63S coupe has a different setup than the C63S sedan which I believe comes with 19's which will change everything. You didn't mention if you had a coupe or sedan and what year C63S. Put all your stock numbers in to find out exactly. There is another website out there that has all the wheels and tires of many major manufacturers and the stock tire size combo's and offsets they run.

Also you need to keep the stock tire sizes on the E63S or ensure that the total diameter front to rear is less than 1% difference because the E63S has AWD and it's very picky when the wheel speeds front to rear to match what it expects. I got many warnings about it from multiple wheel sources and shops. I had to swap out a brand new set of 265/30's for 265/35's because even that little difference was over the 1%.

Thank you for this comprehensive reply Phantom X2K!. I'm the guy who wants to buy the wheels from JaeJin, IF but only if they'll work with no rubbing, codes, etc, on my 2018 W213 E63S. The car came stock with 20" wheels of course, and I don't think Mercedes even offers 19". I wanted to go to 19" because of our horrible NW Indiana Roads, potholes, etc. I was hoping there would be Michelen PS4S tires availale that would have thicker sidewalls, so the overall diameter would be the same as the stock 20" wheels and tires, and differential and computers wouldn't be bothered by this? Am I dreaming? Give up?

Thanks again for replies, all.

PS several aftermarket wheel suppliers are telling me their 19" wheels will work, but, I sure don't want to buy them, have problems, codes, worse yet void warranties, etc. I can sure live with the car as she is.
