Go for it. No issues and you won’t hear them unless you drive aggressive or give a lot of load to the car...

check our youtube page for install instructions 👍🏻

I installed the TurboSmart electric diverter valve (and a turbo blanket). No issues. The only time I hear the wooooosh is if I chop the throttle under hard acceleration.

they don’t increase boost or power, right? purely for the noise effects?

I guess it would be more likely that they reduce the power as the air measuring will be incorrect with those installed..

Think the turbos stay on boost when your flat on gas so don’t think would effect power

Wfrage, where did you get your turbo blankets from? I've got a '17 C63 and have been on the lookout for some but have come up empty handed....ZAC Motorsports is apparently developing a single blanket for our cars but haven't seen any updates in a while (it's difficult for two separate blankets...?)

E63 turbo's are only SLIGHTLY larger, correct? Not sure if they'd be compatible but still interested to know where you found yours

I have them on both my GTS and wagon, they are for the elimination of the hot charge air once the throttles are closed from recirculating.
A cooler air charge = more power.

They are cheap enough and do help reducing intake charge temps.. Yeah get them.
I can't hear them in the wagon and just a slight hiss in the GTS but then again I don't do mods for the sound.

Got the Brabus ones on my G63, hard to hear them with all the wind noise but might be a bit more drama on the E.
