2019 AMG E63 Wagon Warranty Reduced to 2 Years
I bought a used 2019 with 3500 miles. Originally a Canada car that was bought at auction by an NY broker. I took it to service to get it checked out and fix a few things and the service advisor said the warranty is now only 2 years because it came from Canada. I called MBZ corporate and they confirmed this.
I’m looking for advice or anyone with similar experience. I have accepted this and now just looking for info on how to get extra coverage to at least 4 years if not longer. Carchex doesn’t cover my zip code which is near Los Angeles. Wondering if I should contact MBZ for extra coverage or a third party? I figure it may not be much $$$ because the car is still under warranty and very low miles.
Need some help. Thanks.

This is the second time in the last month or so I am seeing a E63 warranty being changed and the customer being non the wiser. There is the guy who bought a CPO only to find that his powertrain warranty is essentially canceled (from my past experiences, all powertrain claims on a status R car are mostly denied). I nearly bought a brand new 2019 E63 that was stopped sale due to MB not being able to fix an issue......didn't know about all that until the day I went to sign paperwork and inquired about extending the warranty..... Car was ineligible for MB extended warranty, found out the prior stop sale issue then too.
Now this by the OP....makes purchasing an MB kinda dicey.
