Hmmm..... Given that your vehicle was also being built in the second decade, I suppose that it's just a matter of timing that I have my VIN # and you don't have it yet. It can't be the options selected as I have everything checked off other than a carbon engine cover for the build. I do hope that my vehicle will be shipped from the port on Dec 16. That would place it in Brunswick, GA on Jan 2 and at my dealer within the first week of January.

B4 code means 2 days until production is complete. Then the code becomes B5.

January delivery

Do you guys really think our cars are going to be here (US) by early January? I have no idea - but - it seems awfully quick. Don’t want to get my hopes up.

Figure at least ten days sailing time once the ship leaves Bremerhaven. It’ll spend two or three days unloading at each port it visits. If our cars are really loaded onboard on the 17th - and not sitting on the pier waiting for awhile - then they should be at Brunswick right around the new year. A few days at the VPC (providing that no voyage damage requires fixing) and then transport time by road to our respective dealers. We should have our cars by the second week of January, latest. Hopefully...

From your lips to Mercedes! One other item to note on the shipping, the ship which will depart Bremerhaven on Dec 17 does not stop in Baltimore and arrives in Brunswick on Jan 4. The ship that will depart on Dec 22 does stop in Baltimore, but not Brunswick. So, if our vehicles are not at the port to be loaded by Dec 16, then the next ship is Dec 26 for Brunswick, arriving Jan 18.

Definitely. I'd read that as him not having any allocations and not wanting you to go elsewhere. That's dishonest, to say the least. There are lots of dealers who'd be glad to have your business and you're certainly not tied to any particular one. Send me a PM if you'd like a referral to my sales guy.

I second that. The dealer I have a relationship with about ordering a 2020, but now a 2021 e63 got me an allocation, 1 of 2, the other was already taken and this was probably around August time. Funny enough, a different dealer that I bought a GLE from was not accepting orders and would let me know when they do. Nothing yet. I would go and try other dealers, its always weird with a new to market car and allocations.

I talked to my sales person this afternoon. He had no update in status since last Friday. He is monitoring the status in Netstar.

I just sent mine a text. I really want to be on the 12/14 ship and not the 12/22 vessel. Fingers crossed...

I mailed the seller today as well (production date 27.11). Turns out is has been sitting in HFN Cuxhaven since 02.12... I'm of course a little disappointed. They told me middle of January so I guess it still valid for that date. (Live in Sweden ...)

I wonder why it would be sitting rather than being delivered since it is a sold vehicle.
