Xpel Stealth full wrap on Magno Brilliant Blue wagon
Hey all,
I have a E63 wagon on order, in Brilliant Blue Magno, and reached out to a local shop to find out what it would cost to do a full Xpel stealth wrap (https://www.xpel.com/shop/paint-protection-film/stealth).
Car is not going to be here for another two months, but I was curious on the price.
Got a quote for north of $7200. That was about $2K more than I expected.
For the amount of money I am spending on the car, another $2000 isn't going to break me. And since I dropped the CCB from my build, I can almost justify this expense.
Anybody have an Xpel Stealth wrap? Any comments on it? How did it hold up after a few years. Is this price high? Is it worth it?

In Canada, it's around $5500 Cdn or $4400 US (in today's exchange rate)
Film will likely need replacing after 6 yrs or so time anyway (aging). Therefore, if you are repeating this process at that time, it would be a huge cost to do this again. Just my 2 cents.

For the PacNW that's pretty on the money, especially if they're going to do it right which means pulling everything off the car (handles, badges, bumpers, doors?). It's basically a full car wrap.

Definitely have them do a custom cut, and not pre-cut. I only wrapped high-impact areas on mine and initially did a pre-cut because I didn't want them taking apart my brand new car. Turns out the pre-cuts are a disaster and my film was lifting in numerous places due to the way it's cut. My installer re-did it twice for me until we ultimately went for a custom cut. The end result is worth it.

sorry didn't add my message with the pic (newbie to forum). This one's mine. I had xpel and ceramic coating. Cost was around 7-8K. Ive had it for 2 years and it still looks great. Worth it, IMHO. It does make the car "stand out" in a way that is not obnoxious.
