Lowering modules revisited - MBUX

I checked my 2023 VIN with MWMODS and they say I can only choose a module with a set setting. I don’t want that. I want to adjust front/rear individually by the mm.

“Module which allows to adjust height by yourself is available for Mercedes with Command unit multimedia.
Facelifted E63s 2023 equipped with MBUX unit , our module doesn’t allow to adjust the height on the go .

All our customers - E63(s) owners are happy with 1 version -20/30mm .”

Anyone have a newer car with a module lowering by the mm?

Well that's a bummer. They're a bit pricey, but you may want to verify with Renntech. At least on their website, they claim to "current":

I'm not sure of this, but it appears that most of the available OBD lowering modules use COMAND for adjusting the height and when moving to MBUX, it requires an independent platform for adjusting, like Windows or Android.

Again, I'm not sure of this but it looks that way.

They charged me $1400 for a stock jobber IC pump after I outright I asked them if it's the same pump as the stock pump. They assured me theirs was better. I got it, and it was the stock pump. I called them on it and they backpedaled and let me return it with a 25% restocking fee which took 6 months and many follows-ups to get back on my Amex.

I don't trust them. Someone else go first and report back!

Ouch! That su*cks. Well F them then.

I guess the solution is to find an OBD module that has a USB/serial port/Bluetooth connectivity that allows adjustment by PC or app.

Good luck dude!

RENNTech is just here to license things from other companies, ie. ASR exhaust valve module sold as RENNTech exhaust valve module with branding in the USA>

Can confirm as I have the ASR module and my installer has done a ton of RT EVM's and couldn't tell the difference.

OP, this really sucks if you can't adjust on the fly, I definitely wouldn't be happy with just one setting, I've gone up and down mm's many times at this point.

Yeah I'll wait until someone "cracks the code" I guess, I need the mm by mm. I don't want to choose between 20mm or 30mm or 40mm or whatever. It took me weeks to get my KW HAS dialed in right a mm at a time, every time I parked I was measuring fenders and I think at that point my wife knew there was no turning back no change coming this is really me heh "Just a second hon" <measure measure measure> "OK let's go" lol

I see, thanks for confirming, I heard ASR might be shipping to North America again when they didn't due to licensing to RENNTech, will recommend just buying ASR at that point given that you are supporting the original company (ASR) and I think it is cheaper too or if they don't ship here still, use some forwarding services.

I guess RENNTech did pay ASR a lot of cash back when they made it exclusive to USA and that ASR can't ship to USA, as I heard they opened up to shipping to USA lately so will be better to just order from ASR.

Even though Renntech is about 90 miles from me, I've never had any experiences with them. After seeing the feedback here I'm glad I haven't!

This place will set the height you want, but every time you want to change it they have to do it for you. I've asked how much changes cost.

If this is possible, then I guarantee you can do this with some software and a laptop. Goldmine in it if someone can figure this out.

There’s another seller on eBay and Amazon that allows you to customize. I think it’s it’s available.

What about just doing it old school? Anyone here done this?

There was a thread with pics that I think I read but can’t find with search - maybe by ronin amg?

Here’s a similar post without pics:

https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...ml#post7321155

Anyone know the other post I think I saw?

I found this but it's pricey https://www.active-sound.eu/en/merce...n#product_info

Still hunting, if I can't find anything I'll bite the bullet and just get a 20mm MWM module.

That looks like your solution! (the ability to adjust at will)

Yeah, definitely not cheap. I know this is dangerous financial thinking, but I sometimes use the following to self-justify some of my purchases:

"If the asking price of the car was $1000 more, would I have walked away from the deal?"
