I ordered mine in early March (specs on my sig line), and was told delivery would be "in June." I was later informed that the date of manufacture will be June 1, so I'll be very lucky to get it by June 30.

So, Al E and ali both have CLS63s on the way? That's going to be confusing...

Al E, 993 is the Lane Tracking Package, which I believe consists of warnings for cars entering your blind spot, and for you wandering out of your lane; but unlike the Driver Assistance Package (997), the Lane Tracking Package does not actively apply brakes to pull you back into your lane, but only gives a warning. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

Sounds like a beautiful, fun, and capable vehicle! Bargain priced, too, I'm sure.

I ordered without the performance pkg. I could not see the benefit of a $9,000 charge to shave .1 second off the 0-60 acceleration time (nor will I ever go over 150 mph). Instead, I ordered $9,000 of other options!

With a U.S. base price expected to be announced shortly at $102,500 (plus freight and taxes), that is enough for me.

Personally, I am in big favor of a full size sedan, so I wanted to go with the new CLS63 because its getting the MCT gearbox. But when I saw the pictures I was upset with the look of square exhaust in the rear. It just turns me off so i decided to go with the C63 4 door.

How do you feel about the new look? Do you like the exhaust?

Apologies to all that wanted the guide. I've sent it to all that requested. Hopefully one of you will put it online.

I like the square exhaust actually only on this car. Not sure if you have had a chance to see the car in person but the front of the car is very square so it ends up suiting it nicely. Normally I'd want to change them right away but on this car they look very good.

But what about the C63 interior v. the CLS63 interior.

It's not like you can see the exhaust when you are driving or it has any impact on comfort or performance.

Personally the dash and other interior trim of the C63 would be a deal breaker for me.

I am not a huge fan of the square exhaust but it is rather inconsequential as I like the rest of the design quite a bit

Official price of the CLS63 was released the other day... $94,900. Not bad considering my E55 was about the same price in 2006, although my car had a few options tagged on...

My 2006 CLS 55 base price was $86k with P2, P030, keyless, truck opener, the price was $107K.
Looks like MY 12 is a increase of $8K over 2006 (first year of model).
Base price did not include gas guzzler and destination.

Could a price thing? Or availability? Dunno, it does seem strange. The CLS63 is a far prettier and quicker car and has better cachet than the C63.
