I would love to see some modded M157s, would be sick to see the engine's potential.

Some say it is many thousands of $ for what is essentially an ECU tune. I believe the Performance Pack mainly is comprised of an increased boost. Considering AMG forced-induction engines are routinely underrated, it may well be that the performance advantage is in paper. That said, I haven't tested the new engines yet. Just enjoy the car now, not worth having any second thoughts. Tunes will most certainly be available soon.

I see it the same way you do.
The extra HP and torque is achieved through more boost.

Just waiting for some tuner to come up with the ECU remap/flash for the M157 and put the rest of the money towards wheels.

Performance package includes steering wheel, engine cover in CF, rear lip in CF, sport suspension, red brakes, and extra power.

ofcourse there will be a tune. and there is one now, check OE Tuning / Jeremy.

Hey Ali, noticed your order for CLS63 AMG is arriving in August. Is this a custom color (Manganites grey Matte) or is that the special launch edition color?

it is called edition 1.

i don't know the color for it. and no one has it untill now.

i know that in my country no one ordered it so i hope i will be unique. LOL

one friend who works in MB dealer told me my car arrived but they didn't call me. they are showing it off in the show room and it is locked and a sticker on it that it is sold. he told me it is mine.

i am currently outside UAE so it is working fine for me that they didn't call.

i hope no one will ride in it.

i told my brother to go and take some pictures of it.

i will post them as soon as i get them.

Umm absolutely, but there's no use worrying about it now. For the price, the performance package is a must-have according to most who've driven the car and tested it. I doubt you'll be unhappy though

Oh, I floor the pedal numerous times already.

For now, I'm still waiting for someone to come up with coilovers for the fronts. Rears is probably an ELM. I don't like seeing that gap under the fenders.
Then an ECU tune and some wheels.

Cool. Minor stuff: maybe 1-inch drop, new wheels, black-out the amber reflector lights and modifying the stock exhaust to increase noise level.
