Justthebest, Its your fault I had to go out and get this car(JK)....I was on the fence between this and Grahal's CLK63BS.... I'm glad I went with the CLS though I loved my CLS55 when I had it and this is way better.
Sinistersurge,
No performance package, i'm sending the ecu to Renntech Monday. Trying to get some miles on it so I can dyno it Monday for a baseline.
I have KW's coming to lower the car. It really will help the look.

a car that gets very poor gas mileage.
Congrats on the new family member.
I remember you saying that you were deciding between this or the F10 M5.
You picked the better car, but I could be biased...slightly.

Welcome to the CLS63 Diamond White Fraternity. You'll get your password and details on the secret handshake via courier soon.
I'd love to know what overall sales by color are. But on this forum, Diamond White seems to be the runaway leader.

96 wheel horsepower and 156ft lbs of torque!!!!!
This is the first step from Renntech. Huge results and backed by Renntech.
I can not wait for this....I'm more excited about the Ecu mod then picking up the car.

2008 CLS63 AMG
Rob, Congrats on the car! That is a beautful car and it seems like you are going to make it even better.
I just got a CLS 63 also(but mine is 2008). I have been up to Vivid a bunch of times with my 335i, dynoed and got some wheels from Vivid.
Anything good for an 08 CLS? Am going to bring it up for a dyno with my other car next week sometime. Maybe i will get to see your car while I am there.

Yeah stop by, I know we have wheels instock, brake pads, exhausts, i think we have H&R lower modules here too.
We could outfit the car same day. How do you like it over the 335i?

2008 CLS63 AMG
It is an entirely different car(obviously). It rides much nicer and has a lot more power mid to high. The 335i is quiccker from a stop but the CLS pulls harder as the rpm go up. Lot more plush and creature comforts(chilled seats). 335i still seemsmore fun to toss around in curvy roads but that could me not being used to the CLS and how it handles. The build quality seems a lot better. Body panel gaps more even and uniform, less creaks and rattles.
The 480 page owners manual is a bit long but I am getting through it.
How do you like yours compared to some of the other cars you have had. Didnt you have an M5 not too long ago?
