Sorry havent driven the car since last Saturday... I had been neglecting my other rides and the 997TT PDK needed some loving.

Ill put some more miles into the car and report back but like I said the car really rides well (with the PP shocks) and KW coils.

i drive them all, fast and hard
does the kw coils completely replace the front stock suspension that comes with the car??

You keep the factory dampeners (shocks)- the sleeve kit is the spring part along with the coil to make your adjustments.

Vic-Can you give us a feedback compare to the H&R/links setup on your E63? I had the same setup on my E63 and i now have Eibach springs/links on the CLS63...i feel is a tad too bouncy. Thinking of going with KW if it rides better!

I like the ride in the CLS with the coils better than my spring set up in the E63 but.... remember I have the PP dampeners in the CLS which stiffens up the ride further. The coils are actually very compliant on freeways and higher speeds. They are progressive so you get the stiffness when necessary during higher speed turns but the comfort was surprising with very limited bounce. Anytime you can go coil over spring I would do it.

If I keep my E63 ill probably get the coils for it- same part.

Thanks bro, yes the calipers are stock if you get the performance package.

I did not delete the airmatic. The rear is airmatic and the front are steel springs so the coils lowered the front and the links/adapters adjusted the rear airmatic controls.

I'm a little late to the thread, but excellent choice with the rims. Your CLS63 is absolutely beautiful Vic. I'm glad you kept the chrome accents in tact for the OEM look. Hire a real photographer for a quality photoshoot to do the car justice.

Nephew you are so correct, this was just the tech's pics LOL... and the car wasnt even on the final setting (sits a little lower).

+1 , that's when I fell in love with Alpine white and went with a similar setup on my E92 M3..

... We did a CLS with these coils the other day, I think the 'custom' rear link modification is a must..
