2012 INDIUM GREY CLS63
Just finished test driving this awesome beast. The colour looked incredible in the sunlight with a heavy metallic. Awesome colour combo withe the tan interior
I've been going back and forth between this and the 2012 E63 and I was in the E63 corner for a while but i am definitely moving back towards the CLS63. The CLS63 interior is way more high end (i've driven 3 of each in the last 3 months) Coming from a C63 the E63 interior feels like the next step up from a C63 (nicer...but not that much better)
The CLS63 feels like a totally different car in a different level, with the leather wrapped dash and the nicer instruments. The E63 has a bigger green house for more headroom but the CLS63 really feels more coupe like.

2012 CLS63
I agree, it's an awesome car, but after driving a 550 version, I can see why I talked myself out of it last time, think I'll keep my 63, and get a zl1 camaro this spring...

Looks and feels a step or two up over the E63.

Hey guys, I was looking on the internet for more info on the Indium Grey paint and found this topic.
I'd like to share a picture I took minutes ago at the Mercedes dealer in my town, Florianópolis, Brazil. The entire photoshoot will be available on my blog this week, but I still have to edit all the pictures, so it's going to take a few days...
They also have another CLS63 painted in "Magno Allanite Grey", which in my opinion looks even greater!
Hope you like...

Hey Freefall, nice ride you got there! This is the Allanite Grey they have for sale. I must say I'm in love with that car. Just perfect! The only bad thing is the price, they're asking US$ 319.900,00 (yes, that's right) for it. Prices in Brazil are a joke...

Thanks man. I love it and it stays so clean looking. you couldn't put a fingerprint on it if you tried. People think is wrapped all the time and are amazed that its factory.
Hey - If you have more pictures of this ride from the side and front I would love to see them.
In the US I could walk out of the show with BOTH of those cars for less than 319,000. Thats crazy. You can't buy from Germany or US direct and have it shipped or is it the taxes?

I am going to edit all these pictures and post it on my blog probably on wednesday, there will be more than a hundred pictures, so it's best if I place the link here.
The prices are very high because of the taxes, even when you import yourself (it's a bit cheaper if you do). The SLS Roadster costs US$ 545.000,00 around here, so both these cars are worth almost a million dollars!!

I know this might be off-topic, but here are some pictures as requested by Freefall from the "Magno Allanite Grey" CLS 63 AMG.
Hope you like it. I'll share a lot more tomorrow, which includes the "Indium Grey" painting...

I'm glad you like it! I use a Nikon D300 with 18-135mm lens. I also use a 105mm f2.8 Macro for details. Sometimes I use a 50mm f1.8, but it's not good for indoors, since cars are a big object...

In the link below there are a total of 53 images. The article is in portuguese, but I think it could be easily translated by Google, at least most of it...

Great picture and thanks for the lens info. Im about to buy my first lens and am confused which way to go. I was leaning towards a fixed 55 1.4.
Also - Here is my baby...just needed to make a few changes......I get her back tomorrow and I can't wait.

Nope...I was talking to you...I just think your nuts for not liking the red calipers and spoiler. The tail lights are so unique and love the way the reds work together and black is a great trim color but this is all just my opinion...and your talking about my exact car....
