dbason, why are you so concerned about proving that your car is fast to anyone on this forum? like you say, you are happy with the money you spent and are happy with the performance... that's all that matters. if your videos/stories are true and you are leaving Supercars in the dust, then who cares what anyone on the forum has to say, you got a 4 door sedan that blows away Lambos that cost twice if not three times as much...

It has STOCK C6 wheels & NON widebody IE it's BASE Regular C6, they Trap @ best 110-112 if driven correctly.. Traps are DEAD ON legit..

You are right in a way but joining a forum where you can share info with people who have the same passion is the whole idea, of course some will be appreciative others will be argumental and very few haters and for a reason or another people seem to be more argumental and making a joke although I am not BSing anything I have a monster I did smoke few super cars and few modded GTR's, I have two projects down the pipe god knows what kind of a lier I would be called once I share my dyno sheets in this place!

Better pic Def a C6 NOT a C6 Z06 (even if it had a transplanted Z06 enging? Lol the Manual 6 speed is EXTEMELY difficult to master or drive a decent ET/Trap with..) Having said that Base C6 usually Automatics & run 110-112 TRAPS like clockwork..

Rip his stinking head off!!! Listen guys - this isn't aimed at either Dbmasons or M156 but anyone who so passionately tries to convince you of something that doesn't really matter is usually mentally entrenched in a lie. Believe it or not - there are entire books on this stuff. Go figure!

An appropriate approach could be:
'hey guys - look at the results I just got! I'm pretty excited.'
or
'Does this seem correct? I just got these charts from my tuner but I only ran a _____ ET.'

There could be compression issues with a couple cylinders or a myriad of other hidden issues. And I'm sure certain tuners couldn't stretch their results for the sake of gaining a good reputation. That seems completely unlikely.

Out of all the luck in the world here is a video of PPPerformance CLS63 running on the same dyno SuperFlow that claimed 711PS on a MAHA, it's even in the same shop in Germany not bad 696HP so I guess I am full of false information M156Beast?

You just don't get it do you? Dyno's mean squat they can be manipulated every which way, YOUR TRAP SPEED in the 1320' end of 1/4 mile proves EVERYTHING 126-127 mph Trap is far far away from 803 HP... Run a 140 + mph Trap & you'll shut us up until then stop spreading ignorance

I Don't hate RENNtech just think they didn't disclose ALL mods in their SLR 9 sec run etc..
I've been a fan & gone to 1/4 & 1/8 numerous times started as kid w/Gramps.. I did run my previous C6 Vette in AZ, but where I live in CA tracks are 4 hr 1 way to Famoso or 8+ 1 way to Sacramento.. Yes I kno a bit about the track even more about street racing..

Since you are well informed I would like your feed back please half an hour ago I ran my driftbox 60-130mph in 7.2 seconds is that any good? I did do one quarter mile run I had a bad start but still my trap was 130mph dead on I am not running skinnies or DR's just the plain semi slicks. What can you say about those results?

V-Box can be manipulated too, you need to prove you wern't on a significant decline IE less than 1-2% having said that 130 mph Trap isn't indicitive of 803 HP or 700+ rwhp as I keep trying to tell you HP can ONLY TRULY be proved by running REAL 1/4 mile (V-box also is slightly flawed in being anywhere from 1-3 mph GENEROUS in TRAP speeds)

Having said ALL that you need @ least a 140+ MPH trap to VALIDATE your HP/TQ claims, you ran 126-127 mph @ 1/4 mi track where reg base C6 Vette ran 110 mph totally legit Trap..

Other Supercars you say attended event ran slow too easily explains why your vidz vs Ferrari 458 etc showed you pulling BUS lengths (they don't know how to drive there vehicles YET) NOT hating on ya bro, I applauded your earlier Turbo upgrades thread etc go chk it.. I'm realist in the actual perf this cls63 really has... Hopefully your tuner sorts it

Probably not super accurate but this sites calculator is right in line with Renntechs claim of about 700hp and their 131mph run as entering 4400lbs with 130mph comes up with 712hp. Entering 135mph comes up with a 797hp.

As for you experience...all good per-say, but you have yet to run your modded SL600 and post your glorious times to reflect your claims of 5XX whp...how long has it been (years?).

Yet you come on here and literally scrutinise a guy for his first time at the track and best part is, you:

1. Compare his times to times on an other continent
2. Tracks that are better equipped (preped)
3. Times done by professional/ experienced 1/4 drivers

His times are low if you compare them to what you see in the USA...he is not there, nor is he a pro. An other good example would be mosco unlimited. Go see the ET and times those super cars run then get back to me

I made valid points, & started my modding @ 440-450 rwp on same Dyno over ALL modifications, made 633 rwhp on CA 91 pump & 702 on Q16 w/NO Cats RWTQ was 876..

I used RENN due to their plethora of data on/off track with ea mod changed..
I'll gladly run anyone in So CA ala' in Mexico late night Since you have overwhelming vitriol for me, for godsake use IGNORE BUTTON

renntech has clocked 7.6 seconds 60-130MPH in there website, 7.1 seconds is what i clocked with running from a roll of 40MPH started with 3rd gear, thats 0.5 seconds faster using a drift box exactly what they used in there ride! please don't pay attention to the other numbers in the pic i was just doing the 60-130
