This is my current with Carlsson Ultra Lights with 305 out back.
My new setup will be HRE P103's with 325out back and 305 on the front.
Will this make me the first 305 front tire on this post?

I love the 1/10's unfortunetly I got mine before the wide body conversion so the offsets are all wrong so I have to change them. If I could have got the same Ultra Lights in a custom offset I would have gone with Carlsson. The Ultra Lights are as they say very light which made for a much better steering ang suspension response from the standard heavy wheels.

Carlsson makes really nice wheels. They were perfect for the look I was going for. The only other option I would've taken were HREs. But they were slightly out of my price point.

Any of the forged wheels now cost a fortune, the HRE's were actually about the same price as the Carlsson Ultra Lights. I will say this, they are very strong and the low weight makes a big difference in the handling.

How the hell?? What offset?
I would like to run a 275 on a 9.5" on a 19" wheel and I don't want too aggressive (outward) offset. What would be a great offset for that size?

Yes, that is actually where I got the idea. I saw the Z28 putting up some very fast lap times, when reading the specs I saw that that they had used a square 305mm setup. Originally they were going to use 325/305 but found it lapped quicker using the 305's.
The SL has a similar weight distribution although heavier. I figured that with the extra power I will be putting down over the Camaro the 325mm should work.
I don't understand why cars which have more weight in the front use the same setup as a Porsche or a Ferrari which have almost 60% of the weight over the rear. It is a recipe for understeer.
Look what happens when we take are cars to the track, massive understeer then use the power to create oversteer. I understand that the manufacturers do it for safety and stability but with the performance abilities of the 63,s and others isn't it about time they set the cars up properly from the factory?

OEM doesn't add huge wide tires up front on STREET CARS mostly due to how adversely this effects gas mileage w/extra drag/surface area. The Track/Lap times are obviously not where STREET car sales are focused..
