M157 Tune Peak Boost Targets

With all the post-tune experiences that seem to be springing up related to misfires and spark plugs, I thought it might be helpful to compile a list of the respective peak boost targets for each of the available SHELF tunes. Reason being, current suspicion is that these issues are related to tune peak boost targets being set higher than the stock hardware can handle, in which case upgraded spark plugs are required to run properly.

So I invite the tuners to chime in and indicate their peak boost targets and whether they feel any special hardware (upgraded plugs, etc) is needed in order to safely and effectively run their SHELF tunes. This will help us consumers make more informed decisions about how and when we tune our cars.

M157 tunes & peak boost targets:
Renntech
OE Tuning
Velos
Kleemann
Weistec
Eurocharged - 21.6psi Stage 1, 22.2psi Stage 2
AMS
Other

So do the M157 also have post ecu remap misfires just like the M275 V12TTs?
On the M275 I know boost is increased by 2 to 3 psi but it hold a higher boost for longer.

Great question as I am also debating who to use for a tune.
I hope the tuners can chime in.

Post #16 of this thread mentions the boost increase for the Eurocharged tune. 15% for Stage 1, and 18% for Stage 2. Obviously starting point must be PP level of 18.8psi (otherwise those increases would fall short of PP level), so that equates to 21.6psi for Stage 1, and 22.2psi for Stage 2.

I considered that when creating this thread, but would bet that the "secret sauce" for any tune goes well beyond simple peak boost targets. Also, some tuners, like Eurocharged, have already demonstrated a willingness to share this information in other threads.

Tuners don't have to, but us users can if you have an OBDII tool (DashDAQ, DashCommand, etc.)
