A "Ricer" is a pretty common way people refer to Cars and Motorcycles made in Japan. At least out here on the West Coast. Its not an racial slur.....

The new toy is great, it has it's own fan club. Every time I drive it people of all ages are taking pictures of it. I move my middle daughter to Newark, Delaware for college a few weeks ago and the kids made a point to come over and get a look at this beast. Even older individuals (men and women in their 60s) have been caught peeking in the windows, some guy was telling me about the car (not knowing it was mine) and talking about how many pictures he's taken. So I would say that the new toy is very popular.
I flirted with a couple wheel finish ideas, but never had the ***** to go through with it like Jeremy did, so my hat is definitely off to you there. I will say this...if the CLS was a dark grey and not silver, I could see me giving it a thumbs up. But regardless, you have to like the car you drive...regardless of how others feel.

^^ well said Pert! This color would look amazing on a darker color car like black or grey.
And Hyperion can still show them off cuz afterall they are the best forged wheels made in America without a doubt.
I can't believe how good they look in the first pic in the box. They would be great in a car show.. Gotta give props to HRE for making such a crazy color look fantastic.

I do wonder what they'd look like on my 550, which is black........but they are not the right size for that car......and don't have the same offsets as my TT...........they might look good on a meteor grey.....like you guys are thinking....
still waiting to hear back from Vince about a refinish for the SC's
which will be in the wheel rotation for my cls....hoping for glossy grey

I'm not a fan of them, but honestly, you do what you want to do. Don't listen to anybody. If we all liked the same things, the world be boring as ****. I'm actually impressed that you have the cajones to rock these things.

I love that you call it a "Pert Plus One Off"....I still have people at my law firm saying "Wait, what? You got rid of the white Mercedes? Whyyyyyy." That car is by far the most aggressive sounding and looking car I ever had.

All the credit for how the car's looks, sounds, and how it drives goes completely to you. There's nothing I can do to her to make her better. I maybe be able to change the appearance slightly by putting some different wheels on her, but that's it. I think that it's fitting for her to have your label on her, like Bradus.

if you want to pull off a crazy colour like that, you need other mods to go with it. slam the car to the ground, some blue accents to the car, wrap the car matte black. Don't half *** it and just put a crazy colour wheel on your car and call it a day.
personally if you were to pull off this colour, it should've been 20s at least.

Your next set needs to be orange. A strong but in the same time dull shade of orange. I would swap the wheels every week to mess with peoples minds . It is not like you cannot throw your OEM wheels on it when you get tired of the crazy rim colors. I think many of us would try experiments like this more if we had more income. I doubt many would keep them on for the lifetime they own the car but they would still do it.
I wonder if Hype is also the type of guy to gel up his hair and dye it neon green for a weekend as well? . Then you could pull anything 'not normal' you do to a car. Not sure a suit would look great with this combo you have now

and yeah, could throw the OEM's on any time......or some CV1's, or some P40sc's.....when they get back...
yeah, changing wheels is fun, and they seem to do better when you have 4 sets to rotate.....my CV1's and stocks are like NEW
have not dyed my hair since my teenage years, 20 years ago never used gel or styling products

Orange can look good. Just paint the calipers yellow so they go with everything.

If the car was a show car, I'd rock the color. I actually think it would go pretty well on a white car of sorts. Nice and loud. Either way, like I said before, as long as the OP is happy with them, all good.
