2014 CLS63P lease rates
So I just put a deposit on a Designo Magno Cashmere White 2014 CLS63P. Car is currently on the Apollon Leader cargo ship en route to the Los Angeles VPC, then will be on its way to Scottsdale, Arizona. Dealer reluctantly offered a $5,000 capital cost reduction, reducing the $116,922 sticker to capital cost of $111,922.
I was told the November lease money factor was 0.00260 for top credit tier which seems high to me. I think the residual was 57%, cannot remember if this was for 10k or 12k miles. They did not give me anything on paper since the lease details will be handled next month, when the car arrives.
Does anyone actually have the current MBFinancial money factor and residuals for the CLS63P ? I am not expecting aggressive lease incentives on it, but don't want to pay a higher MF than necessary. December is usually a good month to acquire a car and want to get the best deal possible.
Thanks in advance for any info. I also posted this in the financial forum but was hoping some here may have some relevant recent experience.

Have been advised that the actual MBFinancial lease rate for A1 credit tier is 0.00185. So the dealer was going to inflate this for additional profit. Difference between 0.00185 <> 0.00260 on MSRP 116920, adjust cap cost 111920 is $135/mo or about $5k over the life a 3yr lease. I'm going to hold their feet to the fire to get the correct MBF money factor!

have you considered purchasing the car? I have found it more affordable than leasing and insurance rates are cheaper for purchased vehicles
btw I'm in Scottsdale as well and have purchased from Schumacher and Arrowhead MB dealers, have been pleased with both

Tier A1 is .00195 >>>>> .00185 is when you opt for AutoPay. But you will need to qualify for it... if not Tier 1 is .00225 and so forth as it goes up. And the dealer has the right to make markup based on your agreement to the financials. Good luck.

Thanks. Got down to 0.00220 - after they started at 0.00275 - and hit a wall there. I was told they rarely can get 1 Plus and it was not available on a CLS63P, who knows if that is true. Apparently it is not just related to credit score, but money down and other factors. Got another $1k off the car and tempted to just accept that. I'll see if I can knock it down a tiny bit more tomorrow if I sign up for autopay.

I bought my CLS55 from a dealer in Ohio as I got a nice deal, and they had the Designo Graphite model I wanted. It seems the east coast dealers tend to be about 1.5% less than out here in the Southwest. At the price range of the an AMG Mercedes, the savings is mostly offset by the cost of closed transport and there is a risk of damage. So buying local was a fairly easy decision this time. The holdback seems sacred and at least on the CLS63 S-Model, 2% above invoice seemed to be their negotiating floor, although they offered me a slightly more aggressive discount on a CLS63 standard model. They absolutely would not give me the tier A1 rate though even though my FICO is ~ 800, but I got it down most of the way there from the 0.00280 they started at.
I actually contacted Fletcher-Jones about one CLS63 in their inventory that had options and colors I would have been happy with, but was told they absolutely won't sell a vehicle unless it is being registered in California. First time I had heard that - is there some new regulation or Mercedes policy about restricting car sales to in-state registration ?

I bought my CLS55 from a dealer back east. Seems the east coast dealers tend to be about 2% less than out here in the Southwest. At about $2k on a $100k vehicle, the savings is mostly offset by the cost of closed transport and there is still risk of damage. So I bought local.
