M157 Turbo Upgrade from Turbo Dynamics
Target: 800HP+
Turbo dynamics proposed to upgrade the turbochargers using their own ‘2207’ spec billet compressor wheels (see attached image). These compressor wheel require modification to suit the existing turbine shaft in the turbocharger, so they fabricated a spacer and then bore and sleeve the billet compressor wheel.
The compressor housing was then CNC turned and profiled. They also used an upgraded thrust assembly with larger thrust pad surface area to help the turbos cope with high boost pressure. A staggered gap performance oil seal was used. The manifold ports got polished.
Considering the car's current output which is Kleemann K3 around 750HP, this should be enough to get close to the target power.
I will post the results once I install them.

Thanks! Indeed, it does look good. However, we were not able to finish the job.
We noticed that there was some leakage from the water pump gasket. In addition to that there was a leakage from o-rings of the water pump lines. Also Engine mounts were damaged.
I think that this is because of high output of the engine... I have to order all those parts and after that we can finish the job. I am also looking for some special engine mounts to bear the output of the engine.
I was also advised to upgrade the gearbox hardware and TCU, on the top of it it is also recommended to upgrade the rear CV axles. That is additional 8K worth of upgrades...

DO you think the issues are due to the additional output from the Kleemann upgrades? I was thinking about getting their tune but if it shakes the motor loose, I may want to rethink it! Thanks-

As for the engine mounts, when I bought the K3 package from Kleemann, local guys from MB dealer didn't know how to install them so they started by removing various parts to approach the turbo pipes. They told me at that time that they even removed the engine mounts. I don't really know why. I believe at that time when they reassembled the parts they didn't tighten the bolts well...
I must admit that I've been running with Kleemann tune for more than 30000KM without any issues. and I've been pushing car to its limits at all times.
You can order ECU tuning, cat-less pipes, turbo pipes, turbo upgrade, spark plugs, air filters and LSD directly from Kleemann, where you will save a lot of time. But alternatively can can do some research and you will save some money if you order spark plugs, air filters and LSD directly from the manufacturer or other web sites.

Air Filters: BMC Air filters
LSD: Qualife LSD
If you tell me what you need from Kleemann I might get a very good deal for you, since I am one of the first guys who got the M157 Engine tuned by Kleemann.

Goletiana- probably get a tune as the first step before moving into the pipes. Probably a better discount if I did it all at once but I'd end up spending more on the divorce than I'd be saving! IF you can get a tune discount I'd be all ears. Send me a PM- thanks!

Yes the race was after turbo upgrade. E63 AMG Biturbo Eurocharged with catless downpipes, Race Filters and Brisk spark plugs vs CLS63 Biturbo with Modified Turbos, Turbo pipes, Catless downpipes, x-pipe, race filters, brisk spark plugs, lsd
