I hope not, 305 is such a popular size. Maybe contact tire rack?

Continental DW are the best substitute for Michelin Pilot Super sports at a fraction of the cost. They are both lightweight tires (typically within 1 lbs of each other at any given size). You sacrifice about 10% dry grip going to a DW from a PSS, but you gain the equivalent amount if not much more in the wet.

Continental DW is king of the wet, nothing beats it in the wet (which from a safety standpoint in bad weather conditions is the most important yet most under appreciated feature).

Same is true of the Conti Force track tires, slightly slower than Sport Cup 2s in the dry by roughly 1-2sec a lap, but absolutely destroys the Sport cup 2s and Trofeo Rs in the wet by a good 10-15 seconds a lap.

Moral of the story: if you lost in a rainier climate, get the Continentals. You will not be disappointed

Keep us posted on what you uncover regarding the PSS. Just to throw another hat in the ring I've had great results with Bridgestone S-04 pole position's. I've even tracked them with my CBS and was very impressed by their performance, comfort etc.

sure thing, seems strange huh? I though that was one of their best selling tires?
maybe they're tired of pro rating them
think they only have a 20K mile warranty

It's probably just a shortage, more will be produced... They have had shortage issues for years, nothing new

I have had good luck with Hancook V12 Evo2. A fraction of the price of the PSS and at the rate a 700hp rwd car eats tires, believe me, it counts . For daily driving, other than tire noise I cannot honestly tell the difference.
