After engine shut off, air compressor keeps running for another couple minutes. When I jack up the wheel to work on something, the air compressor keep running and then flat out, bottom. Are these symptoms of failing air bag?

Thats why MB designed their diagnostic systems to answer your question and you and I guessing gets expensive---get a short test to determine the fault as the system is complicated

what? You must work at the dealer. Lol. If I just bring my car to the dealer, there are no discussion here. No need mbworld.

Mines does the same after power off and runs sometimes up to 15 minutes. No fault means no fault until it leaves me stranded. I went in for service and they had nothing to say.

So MB service didn't know what wrong with that or they have nothing to say because it's normal?

They never said anything was up with it. After a 5 hour service A I assumed they wouldve but nothing.

Replaced 000-982-80-23 in the trunk and 000-982-85-23 under the hood. Airmatic compressor no longer running after engine shut off.
