The wrap is going. So. Slow. Front bumper, roof, gps antenna, face of the wheels(maybe) and complete chrome delete to go. I'm about 10 hours in at this point but it's damn near perfect. There is no such thing as a perfect wrap but this one is very clean and I'm proud of the work that has been done. I'm thinking of making the rear lights satin as well. I'm not sure if I've ever seen that done before.

Anyone remove the resonator from the exhaust? I'm considering it but don't want it too loud ALL the time? Also considering cut outs so I can pick and choose when it is loud. Thoughts?

The Bayou Black is only available at Metro Restyling. It is an exclusive and limited color.

Yes. I found it there already. That's where I get most of my materials anyhow.

By the way..yes remove he resonator. Straight pipe not x. Adds some bark and spool noise, but nothing too aggressive. I did mine same day I bought the car.

Bought some carbon side skirts for the CLS today off eBay. Now the body kit will be complete with the three piece splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler, side skirts and mirror covers all painted with satin clear to dull them down. I don't want the carbon parts to scream, I want them to be subtle. The shape of them with the sharp lines is already loud enough. I have the vision of what this car needs to look like in my head and I'm going all out to make it happen. 1-2 more weeks and it will be done. Wrap is turning out really well and there will not be an ounce of chrome left on this beast with the exception of the exhaust tips but they will be painted when I do the resonator delete.

The worst part about this is I just want to drive it and can't until it is done.

I've been eyeing those skirts for a while too. Pictures are not great, so will be Looking forward to yours to make my decision. I know your feeling the itch to drive, but you're hitting all the points so will be worth it in the end

Received the skirts today, they look awesome, solid construction, carbon is near perfect and they mocked up up very well. The clear has a couple low spots on them but all in all the finish is a 9 out of 10. They don't stick out nearly as far as I thought they would and look very sleek, I was afraid they would look a little too much or not be aesthetically pleasing but they look incredible. Off the the painter when the mirror covers come in, they should be here November 8th.

Wrapped the face of one of the wheels today in satin black to see how I like it and I love it. Super subtle detail.

Pulled her out for some exhaust work and had to take a pic of how she looked. Going to be amazing when the carbon parts go on. Still waiting on paint.

Thank you very much. When I go out in the morning and see it in my driveway or garage it still feels surreal. I'm paying the sales tax on Monday, it'll feel really real after that.
