Question Tyre Recommendations Vossens CVT

Hi Guys,

New to the forum, looking for some advice.

Owned a CLS63 5.5 BiTurbo for 2 months now and looking to get it lowered and put some wheels on.

Already purchased the H&R springs for the fronts and drop links for the rear to lower the car.

Just purchased Vossen CVTS 20's 9j front et32 and 10.5j rear et30.

What tyre size would you recommend for a small stretch (enough for the lip to stick out and look nice)??

Would these clear the brakes also? I want a smooth ride and I havent lowered the car either yet so overall which setup would you guys recommend?

Thanks.

On a 10.5 wheel if you want a small stretch you would probably have to go with a 275 tire maybe a 285 depending on the brand but thats too narrow for this car imo. Personally I think it would look great with a 305 and fit the wheel better. If you do want a stretch look I would go with a slightly wider wheel and lower offset.

I think you would be happy with the 285 its pretty flush. Anything smaller shows a stretch.

Thanks guys think I’m going 285/30/20 rear and 245/35/20 fronts. You think this would be fine??
