Suspension Recommendation Needed ASAP!
Hi guys,
I've been planning to lower the vehicle even before I bought the car, but today came across a 15% coupon on eBay so I figured what better day to pull the trigger and save some money. This deal ends at 7pm PST so I'm a little pressed for time.
I own a '12 CLS63 PP (P30)
I was looking at the KW Kit with the coils in the front and the lowering links in the rear, BUT I've heard the KW setup is rather stiff.. especially matched with my shocks since what I've heard my shocks are more stiff because of the PP (P30) package.
I've heard some people switch out to the Evoklass kit which also claims to lower the car the most. Any feedback?
I'm basically torn between KW, Evoklass, or just H&R Springs up front w/lower links in the rear. In any case either setup will involve lowering links. Also open to any recommendation for the best quality lowering links.
What I couldn't find is any info on the spring rates for either set. Give how stiff my setup is already, I would prefer selecting the softest springs as this is my daily driver and not a track car.
Thanks in advance!

EvoKlass FTW. Coilovers F and Links R. Adjust away!! Ride comfort wise is all based on your suspension setting. Smooth, stiff, and real stiff. HAHA
Oh did I mentioned the kit cost me $650. 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I was gonna order the h&r springs and a link for the rear but this sounds much better.

Beautiful! I ended up buying the Evoklass setup and it only cost me $530
I love your setup, would you mind telling me what your wheel specs are?
How much lower can the suspension go?
And what you did with fenders?
Thanks

The coilovers I can still go quiet a bit lower. Right now I have it to where my index finger can barely get between the tire/fender gap at top center. I’ve had it a little lower before and did notice rubbing while turning up an incline. The back is the same way as far as the ride height and no rubbing at all. I did nothing to the fenders. But if you go tooo low you may pop them while making a sharp turn.
WHEELS SET UP ARE:
Vertini RF1.2 20x9 +32 with 255/30/20 and 20x10.5 +35 with 305/30/20
