After Mod Pics. K1 and Renntech Wheels. WOW!
WOW! I picked up my car from Lucent Motors on Sat and had a huge smile on my face when I saw my car in it's own private stall, fresh from a detail and sitting on those Renntech monolite wheels. Tom adjusted the ride hight perfectly and even though there were two tricked out GT3s, SL65, GT2 and a new Carerra S the crowd was around my CLS55. After Tom gave my car one last inspection I was off.
I was really anxious to see how this K1 package would feel. As I turned on to the north bound on-ramp of the 405 from santa monica I put the pedal to the floor. All I have to say is the power, feel and sound was unbelievable! Anyone who knows this on-ramp knows it is a pretty steep grade and it felt like it was downhill. I could feel the wheels skipping a bit as the ABS fought for traction all the while I was launched up the on-ramp like a rocket. I was ear to ear with teeth. The difference from stock is remarkable and the showdowns I had with my friends Viper SRT10 and F430 will attest to it. I'll post that story and pics under the "Kill Stories" topic later. Also I am getting my 2nd dyno this weekend to see the real numbers and will post all results as usual.
Enjoy the pics and all I can do is HIGHLY recommend the Kleemann K1 package. It's amazing!

Congralulations.......... Your car looks great. I am thinking of changing my wheels to a polished wheel instead of the black wheel. Yours looks really good.

great looking car!!!!
People that don't think the cls55 isn't good looking hasn't been around to see the people flock around the car. People take pictures of it!!!
can you feel the difference the rims make?? Handles so much better reduceing the weight of the tires and rims
Can't wait to see the after dyno results!!!

Kleemann is the way to go!!!
Your car is almost perfect... It looks like the only left to do is swap those Renntech wheels with some Kleemann TS-6's or a set of HRE's. Don't get me wrong... those Renntech Monolites look nice but IMO do not belong on a Kleemann car.

4 wheels
Just a few more months before my next beast comes in. I am thinking of going with K3 and some new rubber right away with PS2's. Also getting the windows tinted all around and clear bra on the front and side mirrors.

Non of the Kleemann wheels did it for me and I have really liked the monolites since I saw them on a SL65 and they were highly recommended from many. Since my mods are internal and only known to whom I tell I dont mind having Renntech wheels at all.
Anyone know where I can get clear side markers?
