Yikes, i have been in a few of these type of discussions before, on both ends, I found out that it is a waste of time. I see where 63 and opal both need to protect their business intrests, but at the same time it should of been done quietly. and the E fights, paleeez... the best thing is to show up at their door step and talk about it... no excuses about time, money, need a baby sitter, just show up. Then any type of racial slurs... guys, you gotta be kidding me! today we are still making racial slurs? i thought that most of that stuff went out in the late 80's, PM or not you loose credibility. Especially *****? Christ... Did you see their women.... I would marry 20 of them if i lived in Utah....

How much earlier could it have come up?
As Shake mentioned, he signed up right before he posted on that thread and was addressed as soon as a staff member discovered the violation. It IS forum policy as is clearly defined in the TOU under the "Non-Sponsor" section he accepted when he signed up on the forum.
As a non-sponsoring vendor, we must ask that you do not promote your business and/or advertise/offer for sale any good or services via any myMBonline.com web functions, including username, avatar, signature, private messages, and forum/gallery postings unless approved by the myMBonline.com Staff
No dick move here. What do you call 'Not reading the fine print before signing on the dotted line?"

Well then I stand corrected. I thought he was a member for a while and it kinda looked like punishment for speaking out.

No longer car shopping...
Well, in CLS63's defense, the "Kid" DID try to mis-represent the wheels and even pointed "potential buyers" to CLS63's website as a reference. That DID make it look (to the general public) that they were getting ACTUAL 360 wheels and likely would have expected 360 to have honored any problems. Not until AFTER Jordan pointed out that these were, in fact prototypes did the "kid" come clean and admit..."er... well, yea, they aren't REALLY 360 wheels bbuuutt they are made by the same company that makes....bs". In the end, the kid was wrong and probably could have legally been sued for mis-appropriation of using someone's name to falsely sell some merchandise. That's called fraud and is a potential lawsuit. Leaving all that behind, it does appear that Jordan called it "water under the bridge" and didn't sue the guy. Seems like the right move but if he had wanted too, Jordan had a fair amount of "Right" violations in this tussle. If opal had simply stated that he had 360-style or 360-prototypes available, it would have been less of an issue but that's not what happened. Of course, the mods on that board shut it down before these legal details were apparent to others.

+1
Fully agree. Not to mention he was selling them for less than what Jordan does which in turn cheapens his product. Now THAT is a dick move. lol
Okay I'll drop it now.

I don't blame it on Opal, I blame it on Modular Society. Opal is just trying to make some money, and Modular mislead him by not telling him the real story behind those wheels. I spoke with the owner of Modular about it, and it's all taken care of. Thanks guys!
