Renntech question CLS63
My dealer does the renntech upgrades and gave me a brochure when I bought my new CLS63 that states the ECU renntech reflash is good for 33 hp and 30 ft. lb of torque. Has anyone on here done this to their CLS63 and did you notice a difference in performance and what does this do to dependablity? Said it costs a couple of grand?

I can't speak to Renntech, but we are seeing between 35-50hp increases with the 63 engines, and if they write their software like we do, you will see a much broader power band, and increased mid range punch. I don't know if Renntech removes the speed limiter, but we do upon request.
As for reliability, we have had no complaints. I can't speak to what has gone on with Renntech's work, but they are a sound company who have been around for a while.

I have a CLS63 with quite a few Renntech mods. No issues with reliability whatsoever. Sorry I don't have the before and after - the work was done when I bought the car. Also, I have a friend with a Renntech SL600, and it's insane. His has been reliable as well.
