O n the CLS 500 you can use 20-35mm w/o spacers maybe even as high as 38.

On a non staggered set up 25-32 all the way around, staggered fronts should be 25-32mm rear 28-35mm

Thanks for the respones, just 1 more question so 39mm all around in a nonstaggered setup would not fit or would rub? ahah Also would it possibly work if i got spacers for it?

as long as you have stock brakes and not brembo or amg calipers the fronts should clear rears will fit .

You likely would be fine , see how it looks and if not tucked nicely just add a spacer, very easy to do and not expensive.

For the 20's, are the offsets the same as above (I have the big calipers from the amg performance package)?

Offset shouldn't matter on wheel size, especially if you are keeping the rolling diameter the same.

20s SUCK!!!! That's 75% of the reason why E55s handle better.

The look great but they do suck performance wise. 19 is fine especially on a 500. If you are going for looks a 20 does look better on the CLS
