I replaced my today. Did not want to buy original MB speaker or high end high cost like Hertz. I bought pair (only comes as package of 2) of cheaper version.
Installed it and it sounds good. It is 2.75" and little smaller than stock. Two ways to install it. One is to just use one bolt and double sticking tape on other end. Other option is what I did, I cut flange out of the stock one and used it as clamp. New speaker fits right in to the hole.
Cost was $99 for 2 speakers. So, I got spare or if somebody wants one I can sell other one.

That model is available to anyone who wants a 4 ohm driver.

Did you have any fitment issues when you installed this center channel speaker? Was the depth of the magnet clearing the bottom of the hole when you mounted it?
