HELP! YELLOW LIQUID LEAK

Hi!

Yesterday I find to my horror yellow liquid under the 2005 CLS 55 AMG (see picture).

It is located on right (the opposite side from the steering wheel) closer to the windshield. The car is working fine and no error codes. The car was standing for 2 weeks, so it is a slow leak. Any ideas what is leaking? Is it break fluid? I hate when this happens...

Thanks in advance for any help!

I had something like that happen a couple months ago. It was a combination of Oil and transmission fluid. It was about $1000 bucks to fix when it was all said and done.

Have you tried to feel it/smell it? Did you get down on your hands and knees and actually verify it's dripping from your car and not that you simple parked over it? Is it greasy? Does it smell like acid? Antifreeze? Oil?

It isnt oily, its clear yellow substance. Smell is hard to tell, it was in the snow. At the moment am checking if its still leaking by putting white paper under the car. Will see. Any ideas are appreciated.

I noticed the same thing under my car, but I have a CLS63. Just a few drops, but it seems to be coming from the same area. No error codes for me, but I will be taking it in soon for service. I'll let you know what they say.

Serious.

I noticed a yellow puddle under one of my cars once in my garage one morning and after freaking out realized it was cat ****.

Keep us informed.

So the car came out of the shop and they found.....

NOTHING, as usual. Well so far the most suspicious object is some kind of animal....

That sucks. Sometimes you WANT to find something wrong. From that day foward, every evening when I close the garage I think I'm going to close another cat inside again.

Sorry if Im a little late but I washed my car yesterday and I moved it a day later and there was a yellowish liquid under my car. I remember that the last time that I saw it was the last time I washed it same 4 inch width I chalked it up as the only time I see it is when I wash my car. but I opened the hood and saw splash from the water on the passenger side. same as before. but WHAT IS THE YELLOW FLUID THAT I KEEP GETTING RUN OFF FROM?

I guess the logical answer to the essence of this question is to put the car up on a lift and check it out! It ain't brain surgery, get under the car and look for a wet area. Codes don't show up until something is wrong meaning right now everything is fine but something is LEAKING!

Had it put up on a lift and the area was leaking due to something that was not tight and its tight now no leaks and car runs great/
