Also wanted to thank Tim that runs the blue team at Herb Gordon Mercedes, Silver Spring Md. Allot of this wouldn't be possible without you bro.

Very very nice!
Thank you for the heads up on the project. I knew you had planned it. You made it happen. Your car is astonishing!

Wow...fantastic conversion..you certainly have a small fortune wrapped up in your CLS! Congrats on the E55K swap.
Do you re-use your CLS500 EFI wiring harness with the E55K motor?
Would you say it was mostly plug in play with little to no fabrication required?
Hoe many miles were on thr E55K motor you bought and how long did the swap take?
Congrats again.

Awesome Brent!!!!!
Glad to see she is finally done!
Now, let us get our hands on her and make her evil!
Oh, Did I mention we beat the V8 record at the texas mile this weekend with a 180.5, out traping sl600's that were there!

Thank you
The swap took a weekend of work, and the wiring was definately not plug and play. Lots of wiring involved, which appeared to be very complicated from my point of view.
The motor had 57K miles and came with ECU plus the wire harness.
It seems like a fast install, but this was due to the experience and knowlege of the people that were doing the work.

Thank you for the advice
Monster Heat Exchanger has my attention .

That is a grewsome task you took on there, well done !!!! Get a good size heat exchanger and a really good intercooler pump to pump the fluid & put it in a location where theres plenty of air flow,as long as the temps stay down, performance will be consistent.

My alternator is performing well, and keeping my audio very happy:
