A friend of mine, Ted Nguyen from EVS Motors did a Black Series steering wheel in a CLS55 and it looks sick! This is the route I'm going as well with my steering wheel. Great job on the swap bro! Very impressive! Welcome to the 55 club!

Dyno results

Took the car to the dyno Sat night. She put down 375 RWHP, torque : 431.
I feel good about the results considering we are still using 2.5 CLS500 exhaust piping. I want to step that up to 3" all the way. Next I will add TB, pulley and tune.

Thank you bro

A few people told me that it wouldn't work, but I'm glad it did. Bruce at Tuning Technology motorsports has been a silent advisor from day one. I remember the morning of the day I picked up the motor. I almost backed out, and I called Bruce and Jake explaining my fear to them, lol! They both told me to go get the damn motor, and that it would work

Thanks again guys

did you do the transmission swap.... how did u SCN code the trans.... it seems weird to me how this is all is working correctly. did you replace the trans control unit? how is your ME unit working with all of this?

It's a secret. Just took time coding it so everything played nicely with each other.

What's up Ducati. This car is used to compete against other euros in the show car circuit. I wanted to build a car from the ground up. Stock motor is not the level that I wanted to be on. The motor was not that expensive. There are a few for sale right now in the classified section.
I'm glad Rudy stepped up to answer questions because I don't know what he did exactly other than vin code a few things to communicate. I will admit that I lost a few things due to the wheel speed sensor and ESP situation. Power steering, cruise control, tire pressure monitor. Not really worried though. Didn't use cruise control anyway, and lots of aftermarket tire pressure systems out there. I am learning to drive this car all over again. It feels like a muscle car without advanced electronic assistance. Just need to be very careful and use common sense when driving.

Thanks Neil, and thanks again for all of the CF goodies. I might need a few more things in the future.

Props. Looks great. I came close to buying your kleemann a while back.
Did you ever dyno your old combo? CLS500K?

There is a whole new level of performance that can be had with your NEW platform..... pulley, tune, IC, IC Pump..... and 600HP very very soon!

Congrats.

Thanks bro! My Kleemann set up put out 335 RWHP. I plan on doing a couple of mods that you mentioned very soon. First on my list is the LSD though, since I have no ESP.
I'll be very happy if I can get to 500R RWHP

I've been doing a few things to my motor to make it look a little better.

My surge tanks were Teflon coated inside and out thanks to Rob at Needswings.com
