Resonator delete question.......shop near Tampa / Sarasota.

I have a 2007 CLS 63 and I'm considering having the resonators removed. Looking for a little more exhaust sound. Is there a noticeable difference in sound with this mod? Also, can anyone recommend a shop in the Tampa / Sarasota area? Thanks.

subscribed I am interested too. There are plenty of video's on Youtube. I would also like to know if there are any cons to doing this? (warning light etc).

There is a noticeable change in sound. Plenty of videos and information on the C forum about this. Do a search there and it should give you enough to make up your mind.
Some will prefer straight pipes others will recommend X pipe.
It is so easy to do that any reputable muffler shop can do it in 1/2 hour.
There is no cons to do this other than cutting your OEM exhaust. It can easily be put back to stock.
There is no CEL as you are not touching your cats.
Go for it. It is a great cheap mod.

I did this at my house a few days ago. I bought some 3" pipe from an exhaust shop. Dropped the exhaust and cut the resonators off and welded the straight pipes in. Took about 45min start to finish. It's not louder in the car but my brother in law was outside wen I did a flyby for him. He said " Damn that thing sounds like 10 Buell drag bikes!" pm me if you want and I'll give you some pointers if you dont take it to a shop! Hope this helps
