Upgrade steering wheel - what would it take?
 

Hey guys. I have a CLS55 with a stock (non-p030) steering wheel. What kind of steering wheel upgrade options do I have? Is anything plug and play? I'm not really interested in / needing paddle shifters.

Get P030 one. I did and love it!

I would if I could only find one! I've been looking on eBay for awhile.

Other ones are too expensive honestly. Just hold out!

I have a 030 car and want to get an 09+ 3 spoke wheel. My car has 55k miles on it but but upper alcantara part while not looking bad, doesn't look soft and fuzzy like the lower part.

I thought it only had Alcantara on the right and left side?

AMG GUY- I'd happyily part with my 030 wheel with the paddle shifters FOR CHEAP ... if you can help me find a wood wheel ( dark brown stock wood) ...I have been searching for a while and cant find one compatible with w219 AND Paddles. I dont want to pay $1k plus for a custom one..

Mine also just have alcantara on the sides of the wheel only.

Have you found one that you're looking for for $1k? Buy that one and sell me yours for more than cheap. :D

Cant find one thats the problem, I saw the cheaper $600-750ish ones on Ebay I would be perfectly happy with but they all dont have the paddle option..of course mine will go cheap once I find a replacement!

I purchased one of the CLS P030 wheels not realizing it wouldn't fit my E55 without a new airbag. I'd ship it for $700. Let me know if you're interested.

Why not get the P030? P030 is bigger than that one on ebay. I bought that one on eBay and it was OEM size but with suede

Hmm, I thought that one I linked to was the P030 wheel.

SterlingE55 will sell me his, but he's going to try to make it work in his e55 first. His also has the paddle shifters, though. I'm not sure if those will work on mine without modifications?

Can anyone tell me which other model cars fit out W219 AMG W/ paddles? I see so many say they are compatible and others say that dont..
