How many of you have had the airmatic go belly up in the front end of your CLS55 AMG? I'm having it hauled up to Gainesville for repair. They tell me it's $1500-$2000. Man that's a pile of dough ray me. Never ever had a suspension problem in any car i've ever owned. Does this seem about right for the costs of trouble shooting and repair?

just had mine fixed while on a road rally in tennessee. MB dealer fixed it for $1500 installed.

Yep that sounds exactly right! My front left on my 55k is bad also. I actually just ordered nee coilovers and will be converting soon! I will have at least one front right arnott shock for sale soon if you want it. Brand new they are $700 but selling mine for $300 with around 40k on them.

which coilovers are you using? just starting to look at them, the way I drive, i don't have much of a choice...
