CLS55 Dyno EC Remote Tune

Hi guys,

Just finished up remote Dyno tuning my car with Jerry. I have Kleemann headers, 77mm supercharger pulley, belt wrap kit, TCU tune with 65k miles I've not had any cooling mods yet (010 pump installed), euro charged heat exchanger has been ordered and on the way. Luckily it doesn't get over say 77F here very often so haven't had IATs get too bad, usually peak at 152.6f if I smash from a stop to 200kmph+. Day of dyno was 69~f. Was done in 3rd as per Jerry request to avoid heat soak.

One graph is the power, second graph has the AFR's. Does anyone else have similar mods and a Dyno Dynamics sheet I can compare?

Cheers,
PieRat

I'm no pro, but the AFR looks a bit off, no?
Or is this heat soak pulling a crap load of timing off the top end?

I was concerned about the AFR dropping to 10 (rich) vs the low 12's at high rpm. I was wondering if this is why the torque drops so substantially at the start of the run? Doesn't heat soak usually make it dump fuel and pull timing so it would be the opposite at the top end?

I sent both graphs to Jerry and he didn't seem to think it needed another tune file I am wondering if he only saw the first and not the one with AFR or he's just sick of me..hehe.

Alternatively I thought maybe he is enriching the mix down low to keep things cool for when it hits higher rpm? Would be interested to know if this is a thing or not.

The place I got the Dyno thought over 12 was a bit high and said he'd try to keep it at 11.5 from start to finish. Maybe I'll just bite the bullet and pay the $1,000 odd they charge here in New Zealand to get a custom Dyno tune..

Here's my original dyno with the box tune.
