Installing a dash cam is there 12vdc close by?
Thinking about installing a dash cam. Just hate the idea of running a wire from that apparatus all the way down to my cigarette lighter. Plus I have to leave that door open on my console. Not good.
Is there anywhere I can pick up 12vdc without making the computers crazy that is in all that electronics behind the rear view mirror?

Looked at sunvisor but rejected
Found sunvisor mirror switch, but also discovered it is always on. Doesn't go off when ignition is turned off. Would be perfect if it weren't for that. Thanks mate ... Popeye
