Hello all,

I just bought a 2008 CLS63 AMG and am very excited about it. I want to install a new Android head unit, but I am not sure which one to buy, wondering if there are any suggestions. Also looking for recommendations for rear and front cameras if possible, or at least rear cameras. I would like to buy something of high quality and a trustworthy brand. Thanks!

Hi I have the Avin Avant 2 and am NOT happy with it.
It is extremely slow and laggy and crashed often.
There are NO updates available for it either.
Certain things like bluetooth song names, internet radio stations on my phone will not be displayed on the screen or MFD.

The front camera can only come on when you press the AUX button on the head unit.
Setting it up was also a real trial as there are no proper instructions on how the CANBUS box switches or which wires are where to splice, but I digress.
The unit itself is well integrated and looks as good as OEM.

I am looking at the Xtrons unit now for more power and the newest Android version.

The Avin camera is also awful with a very narrow field of view. Have to experiment here.

Tech-Tune, that is the one I am also looking at.
I have never used a DVD/CD in my car, ever, so I can do without it.
