2006 CLS55 AMG- Engine/Tranny Tune & Pulley Upgrade
Hello all,
this is is my first time posting. Hopefully this goes out alright.
I recently conplete a Eurocharge Engine/Tranny tune, long tune headers and supercharger pulley modifications at my local European tubing specialist. Since I’ve completed the mods the car has a slight hesitation at low RPMs prior to allowing me to really hit it and hear those beautiful new exhaust notes. The car has also had the check engine light on since the tune and has been back 3 times to eliminate the light.
The shop said it’s the supercharger clutch engaging at lower RPMs due to the tune and that it is not an issue, just how the car will be responding from now on with the mods. Regarding the check engine light; it’s the CPU looking for O2 sensors. Sensors have been bypassed via coding, then installed and most recently, after the instal, recorded again.
I have not picked the the car up yet to see if the light comes back on.
**The shop is very reputable and I have no reason not to trust them as they have done work for me in the past on another AMG**
i have a few questions if anyone can provide me with some clarity/reassurance:
1- has anyone encountered this with their mods?
2- Are these issues normal?
3- any suggestions?
i know this is a long one and possibly asking pretty basic questions. But I am by no means an expert and would appreciate some help.
Thanks in advance!

You need to introduce yourself over on the E55 211 forum. Same car, different bodystyle. All the hot rodders are over there.

These issues Definitely are Not normal.
i have similar mods, plus an 82mm throttle body & a few additional parts & I have No hesitation at any speed & No check engine lights.
Mine is Renntech tuned & the response is insane & instant at all speeds.
As as previously mentioned, Ck Over in the W211 forum. They have the same drivetrain, but not just 1 year, like our cars. Lots of good discussions over there.
