Buying thoughts & advice 2006 cls 55 amg

Was hoping to get some feedback & buying advice, while I’m in the process of buying a 2006 cls 55 Amg

under 50k miles
2 owner
very well maintained by both
garage kept by both
third party warranty - 1 year and a half left
all service records to show
front end accident - cosmetic - records to show
no problem with having a pre purchase inspection

always loved this vehicle , always wanted to own one it’s been taken care of very well.
Low miles
about to buy it ...
But, it’s gonna be 13 years old , is it just to old to be making a smart invest on ?
After the warranty being up soon, two years from now it will be 15 years old , just about when parts will start to go due to age , I’m assuming/ predicting
also the depreciation, if I wanted / needed to sell it.

Good buy , or with the age should I leave it alone ?
i’d like to think that since it was well taken care of I should overlook the age as much as possible, make the purchase , possibily keep it a while , possibily try to get the company to extend warranty , but worried age is gonna start to come into play & I’ve heard some horrible stories.

This wouldn’t be my primary vehicle, I’d def be making sure to get its juice pumping at least twice a week, as I’ve heard rubber seals after 15 years could start to go.

Ive also heard this engine is bullet proof morevthen once.

Figured id get great insight here on this.
Thanks in advance

Can you do basic maintenance by yourself? If you shop online and do rhe work yourself maintenance isnt bad. Yes the engine and transmission bullet proof. Possible expenses are: (prices ballpark)

intercooler pump $100
alternator $300
air struts $370 ea
Fuel pump - check at dealership is this is done. Its on extended warranty for 15years from manufacture. If it hasnt pour lift the rear seats, pour some petrol on top of the tank and take it in (usa only)
sbc brake system now has 25yr warranty so no worries there
misc sensors $100 (usa only)
spark plugs $100 for the set

Just examples, these may be fine or already have been done.
in my paetof the world these cars depreciate slowly because theyve already done so much!!

06 CLS55 w/ P030, 05 Jag S Type R, 05 TBird-68 Dodge Charger R/T-440 w/4speed I'm original owner
What is the price? I'm an original owner of the same year car with the P30 performance pac.
no real issues except head gasket and 1 air strut.
bullet proof car. The depreciation of the car make it very affordable even with repairs.

For the age you will be hard pressed to find a more durable car or one that is that fast. Everyone who looks at my 06 CLS55 thinks it's a new car. Use great oil, change trans fluid on interval, along with supercharger oil and you will a long lasting car. I even bought at 06 R500 that had the same M113 though normally aspirated engine because I think so highly of that engine series. Parts are not stupid high and if your can do some of the work yourself you will be money ahead. Just make sure you have a good set of External torque sockets and internal torque bits.
